Introducing Our Closing Speaker!
From her website:
"Helen Joy George resides in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina with her three children. She spends her days writing , wading in the cool waters of the rivers, attending births as a doula and telling stories through photographs. She is an author who has just had her first book published. Yellow Tulips …a memoir about her life and a year long journey in the mental healthcare system. Born a sensitive person, she has spent her life observing and empathizing with people on a very intimate level. Her love of art and photography has always been present, pushing her to think outside of what is expected. These gifts have lead her to the very fulfilling and honor filled task of living out her purpose in this world: telling stories both visually and through word." |
